THREE BEARS & A CUB PRESENT “UNLIMITED IMMIGRATION EQUALITY”: A BENEFIT FOR IMMIGRATION EQUALITY AT NEW YORK CITY’S THE DEEP END!

Four New York City Bear/Cub Titleholders and LGBTQ community activists (Dan Jiménez, Joe Mannetti, Jed Ryan, and George William) have teamed up to create an upcoming variety show-style fundraising event for Immigration Equality, the leading national LGBTQ immigrant rights organization.

Named “Unlimited Immigration Equality”, the event will be held at the lively hotspot The Deep End in Ridgewood, New York on Saturday, August 3 from 9 PM to 12 midnight.

The night will feature a wide variety of live performances by a diverse lineup of comedians, drag artists, cabaret singers, and burlesque performers. Music will be provided by the popular DJ JEM NYC, AKA Jorge Mdahuar.

There will also be raffles for exclusive artwork from Ricky Mestre and Thom Bierdz, tickets for live theater courtesy of Spin Cycle NYC, two VIP passes to Key West Bear Weekend donated by Bear World Magazine, and many other prizes.

“Unlimited Immigration Equality” is the fifth collaborative event created by “The Care Bears”, Mr. International Daddy Bear 2009 Joe Mannetti and Mr. North American Bear 2011 Jed Ryan.

The two friends share an affinity for raising money for worthy organizations. For this event, Mannetti and Ryan joined forces with two young men from the next generation of community activists, Mr. NY Unlimited Bear 2018 Dan Jiménez and Mr. NY Unlimited Cub 2018 George “Bam Bam” William– hence the name of the event.

The four chose Immigration Equality as the beneficiary because of the organization’s tireless advocacy for the rights of LGBTQ and HIV-positive immigrants seeking safety, fair treatment, and freedom.

It is a cause that three Bears and one Cub feel strongly about. Jiménez states, “America is a melting pot of many cultures. Turning our backs to immigrants is rejecting what made America what it is.”

Mannetti adds, “LGBTQ immigrants make America great! They are part of the foundation of this country’s strength!”

Ryan concludes, “It is difficult enough being a stranger in a strange country. If you are LGBTQ, it is even more of a challenge. The only wall we should be building is a wall of brotherhood and sisterhood.”

Three Bears & A Cub’s “Unlimited Immigration Equality”, a benefit for Immigration Equality, will take place on Saturday, August 3, 2019, at 9 PM at The Deep End, 1080 Wyckoff Ave, New York City.

Performers include Nelson Gonzalez, Sucia Queen, Gary Hill, Coby Koehl, Ike Avelli, Vivian Darling, Viva Vidalia, Tym Moss, Zola Powell, Eugene Guye, and Jeza Belle with Special Guests The NYC (Dis)Order of Sisters.

There is a $10 suggested donation. For more information about this event, visit www.Facebook.com/Events/2279429915719062. For more about Immigration Equality, visit www.ImmigrationEquality.org.
