Steve Etherington

Steve trained ‘classically’ from the age of 9 in guitar, piano, tuba, and musical theory.
He also has a plethora of qualifications with the Royal Academy of Music, Trinity College & The British College of Accordionists.

The bands & artists that Steve has worked both live and in the studio with include: The Rubettes, Hot Chocolate, Modern Romance, The Drifters, The Temptations, The Tramps, Shane McGowan, Leee John, Glen Matlock, C&C Music Factory, Beenie Man, Angie Brown, Rozalla, & Jackie Graham to name but a few.

Steve is ‘One half’ of “Symphonic Ibiza” (Orchestra) with DJ Andy Joyce.

Steve left the Rubettes on Feb 15, 2019, with Alan Williams and formed a new band The Rubettes with Original band members John Richardson and Mick Clarke.

The Rubettes ft. John, Mick, and Steve

The new Rubettes featuring founding members John Richardson, Mick Clarke, and Steve Etherington (Producer/Arranger since 1995) started on 15 February 2019. The band will be performing live and recording new original music, on Sobel Nation Records.

The Official Rubettes with John, Mick, and Steve will be performing as a ‘Powerhouse Trio’ or with members of Steve Etherington’s Symphonic Ibiza.

The band’s live sound will keep the flavor and sounds of the songs everybody knows and loves. Original Music will keep the Rubettes feel with an updated twist.

The Rubettes with original band members John Richardson, Mick Clarke, and Steve Etherington are keeping it 70’s ‘GLAMTASTIC.’

Between 1974 and 1979 The Rubettes enjoyed chart success including their number one signature song “Sugar Baby Love” which sold worldwide over 30 million records.

Jayadev John Richardson

John Richardson is one of the founding members of The Rubettes, best known for his vocals and drum work.

Between 1974 and 1979 The Rubettes enjoyed chart success including their number one signature song “Sugar Baby Love” which sold worldwide over 30 million records.

In 1979, he left the band to explore his spirituality, releasing music under his Hare Krishna name Jayadev.

In 2000 he returned to the Rubettes featuring Alan Williams, Mick Clarke, and Steve Etherington.

In February 2019, he left the band and formed The Rubettes with Mick Clarke and Steve Etherington.

In 2019 he released his first Dance Music Single with Jayadev's Mantra Crew entitled ``Ganesh`` On Sobel Nation Records. The song hit #1 on the Dance Charts.

KC & The Sunshine Band

The album, KC & THE SUNSHINE BAND, was released in 1975, went triple platinum and contained the #1 hits GET DOWN TONIGHT, THAT’S THE WAY (I LIKE IT), BOOGIE SHOES and ROCK YOUR BABY. Also in 1975 he won the American Music Award for Best R&B Artist.

KC’s album, PART 3, released in 1976, also went triple platinum and contained the #1 singles I’M YOUR BOOGIE MAN, SHAKE YOUR BOOTY and KEEP IT COMIN’ LOVE.

The band’s string of hit singles continued with BOOGIE SHOES, which was included on the SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER soundtrack, PLEASE DON’T GO.

He also received Grammy Awards for Album of the Year, as well as Producer of the Year in 1978 for his work on the SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER soundtrack.

Tight Fit

Tight Fit shot to fame in 1982 to with the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight”.
Since their chart hits in the early 1980s, the past 30 years have been busy for the band, including:

Steve Grant returned to his roots in musical theatre, appearing in a number of musicals (such as Miss Saigon in the West End), before losing most of his sight which led to a focus on recording studio work instead.

Julie Harris, who became a professionally qualified Chef, as well as a mum of three, has been in a number of successful bands such as Julie and the Gems playing live to audiences everywhere and performing lead vocals with the “Back To The Eighties” band.

Denise Waterman (nee Gyngell), who became a mum of two during her marriage to Pete Waterman, had a band with her two brothers following Tight Fit. She has worked as a TV presenter and professional entertainer, as well as founding her own theatre-camp school based in Wimbledon.

East 17

East17 was one of the biggest selling boybands of the 90s selling over 22 million albums,18 top 20 singles across 4 top ten albums during their reign.

East17 are back with more punch than ever before. Original band member Terry Coldwell is joined by Artful Dodgers finest, Robbie Craig, whom himself has an impressive list of accolades, from Ivor Novello award winner to achieving a number 1 single with woman trouble amongst other hits.

Newest band member choreographer Terry (TJ) John has been on the big stage himself as one of the leading dancers in the country, performers he has worked alongside include, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Cheryl Cole and many more.

The bad boys of pop are bringing there high energy and powerful performance, full of attitude and swag as they perform to sell out audiences worldwide.

Modern Romance

Modern Romance was formed by David Jaymes formed in 1981.

After two flop singles, Andy Kyriacou joined the band. He joined 8 weeks before the band charted with their first hit record, ``Everybody Salsa``. This was followed up with ``Ay Ay Ay Ay Moosey`` which made the top ten singles chart in the UK, followed by ``Nothing Ever Goes The Way You Plan``. The second part of this song was remixed, renamed, and released as a single, reaching No.2 on the U.S. Billboard dance charts as ``Can You Move``.

After another hit with ``Cherry Pink and Apple Blossom White`` the band saw their highest UK chart position, with ``Best Years Of Our Lives.`` Three more hits followed, in 1983. ``High Life`` followed by ``Don't Stop That Crazy Rhythm`` and their last chart hit, ``Walking In The Rain``.

Andy Kyriacou continued with the band, as the only original member, and put together a new line-up, including Steve Etherington, and are ready to make hits again.

Glenn Soukesian

Glenn Soukesian is better known in the music industry as Colton Ford, who has been in the industry for over 35 years.

He was signed to Grammy-nominated producer/songwriter Denise Rich's production company and had two deals with Virgin in the '90s.

He released four full-length albums, “Tug of War,” “Under the Covers,” “The Way I Am”, and “GlennSoukesian.” and the EP, “Next Chapter”

Too many singles to mention, collaborating with Frankie Knuckles, Chris Willis, Nervo, Wawa, Redtop, Larry Peace, and Erik Griggs (Jordan Sparks, Chris Brown) to name just a few.

He had several hit singles and videos, including Billboard charting, “The Way I Am,” “That’s Me,” “Let Me Live Again,” ``Losing My Religion” and the top 10 “Signed, Sealed,
Delivered”.

Soukesian was named in AfterElton.com Top 50 Gay Male Musicians.

Amuka

Amuka is the stage name used by singer/songwriter Sheila Brody Kelly. Originally from Detroit, she was discovered by The Godfather of Funk, George Clinton.

Following her musical destiny, she developed the persona Blackwood, where she went on to have the number one dance album, beating out Madonna with her smash hit ``Peace`` from the album entitled ``Friday Night``. She then became known as Amuka, and released her 2003 anthem, ``Appreciate Me`` a hit that marked her with the number 1 song for the Top 200 Dance Songs of the year. Her second single as Amuka is ``U Ain't That Good`` which charted up to the number 3 position on Billboard.

She released another huge song entitled ``I Want More`` that also went number 1 on the Billboard Dance charts. Amuka then signed a Recording Contract with Ultra Records for her radio smash hit ``Craving.``

Allan Jay

Allan Jay is a dynamic Scottish vocalist and has been a constant feature in the world of Dance music charts for the past few years becoming one of the most successful new artists on the club scene. He has become a rising star on the UK, European, American and Canadian music scene.

Allan released a number of successful singles such as “Its My Life” (2013) “Love & Pride” (2014), “Superman (It’s Not Easy)” (2014), “I Go To Pieces” (2015), “Boom Boom Boom (Lets Go Back To My Room)” (2015), “Breaking My Heart” featuring legendary 90s Queen of Rave - Rozalla (2016) and his first charity single a huge ballad originally written for Miss Cilla Black “The Best Is Yet To Come” (2016) for ‘Cruse Bereavement’, ``Let's hear it for the boy`` (2017) which was a charity single for the Retired Greyhound Trust.

Crystal Waters

With 10 #1 Billboard Dance Chart hits and 11 top ten songs, Crystal is currently rising to the top of the chart again with her European hit “Testify”, chosen as the power pick for the second week in a row.

She is best known for “Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless)”, “100% Pure Love” and the #1 European hit “Destination Calabria” with Alex Gaudino. Her accolades include 6 ASCAP Songwriter Awards, three American Music Award nominations, an MTV Video Music Award nod, and four Billboard Music Awards. In 2012, “Le Bump” (Yolanda Be Cool) added another #1 on the Beatport House Chart. Soraya Vivian

From Ministry of Sound and Hed Kandi, to Universal and Vendetta, Soraya has appeared on a catalog of renowned labels.

Soraya’s hit ‘When You’re Gone’ was introduced to the world in 2003 by AATW who masterminded some of the most prevalent vocal dance hits ever recorded.

Lifted House approached Soraya with an invitation to write and record with them, with the end product being released by Warner Music.

Interest from leading artists continued and soon resulted in collaborations with individuals such as Marc Maris, Eric Cupper, Digital 96, Dave Ramone, Studiopunks, Jason Herd and Esquire.

Having become a part of the highly acclaimed Fire Angel family, Soraya is enjoying touring the globe with Mark Doyle and his angels.

Angie Brown

‘Bizarre Inc’ and Angie Brown met at an audition in London. Angie then went on to record, ‘I’m Gonna Get You’ with the young DJ/producers. The song became their biggest hit.

‘I’m Gonna Get You’, entered the UK National charts at #17 and stayed in the top ten for 8 weeks. Overall sales were 300,000 and in other territories around the world sales have been over 2 million.

With the success of this track Angie was able to launch her professional career. She still performs live, and releases new dance songs every few months.

Angie has appeared as a TV personality on many numerous prime time TV shows including ‘Good Morning’, ‘GMTV’, ‘The Lottery’, ‘Top of the Pops’, ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’.

Rozalla

Rozalla’s career took off when the dance anthem Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good), reached number 6 in the UK Singles Chart in 1991.

The single became a Top 10 hit in many European countries soon afterward and reached the Billboard Top 40 the following year. It was later included on her dance-heavy debut album Everybody’s Free, which peaked at number 20 in the UK Albums Chart and went silver.

The album spawned two more sizeable hits in Faith (In The Power Of Love) and Are You Ready To Fly, reaching number 11 and 14 respectively in the UK Singles Chart.

After touring with Michael Jackson, opening all of his performances on the European leg of his Dangerous tour, and several other charting singles.

Rozalla sang on the Sony album Look No Further, on which she worked with music legends Diane Warren, Frankie Knuckles, and Jellybean Benitez.

Amber Dirks

Amber has worked with several hit-making producers including Richard Shear, and Nick Trevesick.

Her considerable vocal skills impressed producers and remix masters R.K. Jackson and Marcus Schulz, who eagerly recruited AMBER as the vocalist on the Plastik Records release ``Do You Want Me``.

AMBER has provided backing vocals for an array of notable entertainers including Roberta Flack, KC & The Sunshine Band and A&M recording artist Malaika.

As a Guest Vocalist of the classic group Sister Sledge, Amber has traveled extensively in the US and abroad.

Amber has also appeared on BET, VH1 and has sung the National Anthem at numerous major televised sporting events. Her exotic blend of talent and beauty won her a spot as a former Miss Black USA finalist representing the state of Arizona.

Julie E Gordon

Julie E Gordon. Singer/Songwriter/Producer/Composer. Influenced by a number of artists/writers/producers - Have worked as lead and backing Vocalist amongst the likes of the McCleod brothers at Moolah Rouge Studios, Richard Sirling (Smooth FM), Sunny Levine, (Producer of Unkle Dysfunctional Happy Mondays) This Feeling, Jersey Budd, Tom (Kasabian), Big Finn, Womack & Womack, RSL,(Nominees for BBC Worldwide Music) Grand Central - Mark Rae & Christian, The Speakeasy Collective, Single Cell Collective (Caulbearers),and the noted Happy Mondays.

She has supported artists, Amp Fiddler, Courtney Pine, Sean Escoffery, Liz Fields, The Charlatans, The Psychedelic Furs, Mickey Avalon, under the banner of RSL, Happy Mondays. Has collaborated with Jean Carne, and the late Nathan Heathman.

Peyton

American soul singer-songwriter Christopher Peyton got his musical start singing at his father’s church in Virginia. As an artist, Peyton adopted his surname as his stage name.

Peyton is a singer with a message. Called by a higher power to inspire others, he channels his message through his soul-stirring vocal gift, weaving elements of gospel and soul with a current sound to uplift people and by supporting causes he believes in.

Peyton supports causes such as the All Ways Up foundation in the US, which helps first-generation, low-income youth get through college. He is also an ambassador for anti-bullying in the UK.

K-Syran

K-Syran, is a director, writer, actress and singer-songwriter.

Throughout 2016, K-Syran has enjoyed collaborations with big pop names, global producers and some of the worlds most in-demand DJs. In the summer of ’16, her cheeky pop single ‘Hello’ smashed into the US Billboard charts, where it stayed all season as she embraced the newly emerging ‘social’ era by delivering a Snapchat video to keep in touch with her fans.

‘Hello’ later became the anthem for World Hello Day in the Autumn of that year – proof that K-Syran’s music has the power to connect with the masses on every level.

Casey Desmond

Casey Desmond was a contestant on Season 1 of The Voice.

Her accomplishments include writing and recording with multi-gold and platinum producers Robert Ellis Orrall (Taylor Swift, Martina McBride, Lindsay Lohan), Chris Henderson, (R Kelly, Trey Songs, Jamie Foxx) Anthony J. Brian Kent

Brian has succeeded in creating a major buzz across the nation these past few years to build up to the present. TV Networks and Screenplay.

These videos spent weeks on the Top 10 countdown show The Click List on LOGO causing Brian to be voted one of the Top Artists of The Year on their end of the year special. This allowed Brian to make a name for himself internationally and tour the world, opening for such artists as Taylor Dayne, Kristine W., Crystal Waters, and Martha Wash.

Kent’s evolution across multiple genres has earned him multiple nominations and an OutMusic Award for Best Dance Song as well as being awarded a finalist in The USA Songwriting Competition for “I’ll Find A Way”.

BeBe Sweetbriar

The San Francisco-based drag chanteuse BeBe Sweetbriar has graced every notable stage in the City on the Bay and many stages around the World including Hong Kong, China. As award-winning performer, Top 10 USA Dance Radio and Top 25 Billboard charting recording artist (UNITY, 2017).

BeBe has been the opening act for Destiny’s Child Kelly Rowland, TV’s Ugly Betty star Alec Mapa, Broadway-star and The Voice alum Frenchie Davis, Billboard Dance Divas Kristine W. and Luciana, and Punk Rock star Peaches.

As a Nightlife celebrity, BeBe has been awarded the 2017 Nitey Award for Most Notable Drag Queen in recognition for the many nightlife parties and events she’s hosted and the entertainment gained from her performances and creative events.

BeBe is also the recipient of two JustCircuit Awards for Drag Entertainer of the Year and Circuit Personality of the Year in 2016.

Jay Cee

Jay Cee started his Electronic music career in 2011. Specializing in Electronic Synth Pop and cross genre's his music has already had BBC Radio airplay.

Jay Cee's first single with Sobel Nation Records hit the iTunes UK top 200 Dance Charts.

Terri B!

Terri B! has worked with Avicii, Roger Sanchez, Cazzette, Thomas Gold, Stonebridge, D.O.N.S, Laidback Luke and the Bingo Players.

Her career jumpstart was the unique double hitter featuring on Avantgarde’s “ Get Down.`` She was the lead singer of 2 Eivissa, reaching the #1 spot in Spain and top #10 in the US Billboard Dance charts with Oh La La La. She also charted with Henrik B! ft. Terri B! killer, Soul Heaven, took clubs by storm, reaching no. 3 on the World Dance charts and smoked club radio worldwide from the UK to the United States.

Her release Heaven, reached more than 100 weeks on the Russian top 100 radio airplay charts in 2010, with more than 450,000 spins. She continues to sign on to cutting edge productions penning and performing all over the globe.

She earned gold records for multiple European pop projects including gold for Dance diva Medina’s International English LP, Welcome to Medina, and her songwriting for acts like Sean Finn, Rene Rodriguez, and David Puentez.

Melanie Williams

Melanie Williams is best known for her hit single with the group Sub Sub ``Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use),`` which charted around the world.

Later she released the single ``Showdown`` under the name No Sovereign on Geffen Records in 1987.

Later she signed with 10 Records; a sub-division of Virgin Records, and released one album.

In 1994, she went solo and signed with Columbia. Her debut song 'All Cried Out!`` reached No. 60 on the UK Singles chart. Her follow-up ``Everday Thang`` hit No. 38.

Melanie released an updated version of ``Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use)`` in 2017 which featured a mix by StoneBridge.

Big Mama Capretta

Big Mama Capretta, also known as Father Anthony Capretta came out of the closet in 2009 as a drag queen Big Mama Capretta revealing the truth about her identity hitting the Billboard dance charts on Carrillo Records with his charting top 20 dance floor anthem ‘Big Mama’s House’.

Capretta topped ‘The Music
Behind the Worst Album Covers Ever’ in 2015 with his album ‘Who’s Lookin Back’ on LSA Records and his album was featured on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Do Not Play List’ in 2015.

A provoking documentary featuring Capretta in drag produced by Univision Television went viral in South America and the Caribbean in 2018 riling millions of viewers.

Storm

Storm first burst onto the South African music scene at age 16 with his debut single, Keep Calm, which shot to No1. Far from a one-hit-wonder, he repeated the success with Rhythm & You, which not only topped the local charts again, but received radioplay from across the globe, including Australia, Canada, USA, UK, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Denmark and The Netherlands, receiving a stellar rating of 10 out of 10.

Pierre Pascual

Pierre Pascual is a writer, singer, songwriter, publisher, producer & visual artist. He lives and works in Paris.

In 2003 he moved to Paris where he works as a songwriter and remixer.

In 2006 he created the band Cartel Couture , and one year later the experimental musical combo Chose Chaton , before paying tribute in 2012 to his teenager loves in the album First Love . On the occasion of this musical journey he loves: writing, mixing and producing tracks; creation of two record labels; production of music videos; production shows; visual and sound performances (including the gallery of portraits in sound Audio moments ).

Passionate about literature, philosophy and poetry The Seleniteas an editor, producer (recording and production of audio books and transmedia material) and writer.

Lightyear

When Lightyear (Scott Finnell) was 16 years old, he began to write his own songs.

In the 80's he toured with a band on Capitol/EMI records and wrote two of the songs for their album.

I dropped out of music and got a real job. However, the music never left me and I am back.

I released my first single ``Stand Up,`` an LGBT Anthem with Sobel Nation Records and am working on my follow up.

Amrick Channa

London/Kent based, Amrick Channa, is a Vocalist in the Soulful/Funky House music field.

He has performed live for brands and venues such as Hed Kandi, Stereo Sushi, Ministry of Sound, Pacha London as well as countries such as Dubai, Switzerland, Slovenia, Italy, and Russia! He has hosted parties & been interviewed for Miami Fashion Week TV as well as Russian MTV!

Amrick has records signed for release on labels in the USA, UK & Europe. His track with the Cookie Monsterz, which is featured on the Ministry of Sound/Hed Kandi compilation CD.

Amrick's collaboration with Italy's Black Legend/Jackie Reverse on the track ``In The Heat Of The Night`` made it onto Pete Tong's Essential Selection on BBC Radio One. That track along with Hindu Summer was broadcast on Kiss FM amongst others and were hits all across Europe!

Michael Mott

Michael Mott is a composer/ lyricist, Michael’s original musicals include “Mob Wife” and “Faustus.” He is currently composing music and co-writing lyrics for a brand new original musical, ``The Hellfire Club,`` co-conceived and written with librettist, Zoe Samuel. Additionally, he has written original songs for the new TV series, “For Real,” currently in production. Mott’s concert work includes sold-out performances of ``Write Now: The Music of Michael Mott`` at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC, “Three Way Street” at 54 Below, ”Mob Wife`` at THE PITCH at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, ``Faustus: Live In Concert (Chicago),`` ``Faustus: The Next Step`` and ``An Evening of New Music: The Music of Michael Mott.``

As an actor, Mott has performed Off-Broadway in ``Milk and Honey`` (David) and ``I'd Rather Be Right`` (Tony) both with Musicals Tonight!
