DJ STEVE HENDERSON
DJ Steve Henderson has been a headlining nightclub DJ, promoter, stage and club manager and proclaimed "Bad Boy of the Circuit" since 1986. His blend of European house, High Energy, Tribal, Electro and Classic Club has packed the dancefloors of every club, circuit party, and special event he has played.
Steve quickly gained notoriety spinning through the Baltimore, Washington DC and Delaware scene in the late 80's . He has retained nightclub residencies and guest appearances at virtually every major gay dance club in the east coast, tri-state area over the past couple of decades. Steve has numerous residencies around the country, including holding the honor to play several reaccuring Pride events, and major circuit parties such as DC's Cherry. Steve has DJed for over 400,000 people, serving as the resident DJ for Washington DC's Capital Pride every year since 2005. He has been on Capital Pride Planning committee for a decade, hosting, planning and stage managing one of the largest festivals in the United States.
In the studio and in clubs Steve has worked with and toured with dance artists, Gloria Gaynor, Ultra Nate, Crystal Waters, Rachel Panay, Pepper Mashay, Vicki Shepard, Vanessa Conde and many others, he has worked as the main studio engineer for Dynamix Records in Baltimore since 1998, and had numerous charting singles and compilations throughout the 90's. Steve was recognized as one of the best DJs in the US from both Billboard Magazine and DMA Magazine. His live sets, and performances have been featured on XM/Sirius Satelite radio, and OutQ, now exclusively on Sobel Nation Radio and Wild Cat FM!
Currently Steve can be heard live at numerous Chicago nightclubs and at Washington DC's Ziegfelds/Secrets nightclub, one of the most "notorious" clubs in the country once a month for their "Voltage" party.
